magical welsh castle

Carreg Cennen, 13th century Welsh castle in the Brecon Beacons with magical ambience and spectacular views; these craggy hilltops would have been occupied and enjoyed long before that.  It was sold by mistake by the Earls of Cawdor to a farming family due to a muddle with land deeds. Intriguing and rugged wild breeds of sheep graze the hilltops.  I was delighted to discover that many nearby residents have Welsh as a first language, as my own father did.  There's a natural cave under the castle to explore, that apparently formed part of the defence systems.
