Ibogaine for Parkinsons

At The 2016 Global Ibogaine Conference:
“Phytostan Pharmaceuticals, Genesis Ibogaine Center, Nutra Lab Canada Ltd.,   Patient ‘D’ and CKBR-12 have conducted the first  treatment anywhere of a Parkinson’s Patient with an Ibogaine Derivative Medication. The results are astounding.”

“both ibogaine and its metabolite noribogaine have been shown to lead to an increase in levels of glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) in the brain. It has also been shown to have neuroprotective qualities promoting the survival of both dopaminergic and motor neurons.
In other research, neurotrophic factors, specifically GDNF, have been shown to cause sprouting of dopaminergic fibers, with a resulting improvement of clinical symptoms of Parkinson’s in experimental animal models and humans”

Iboga sustainability project

In these auspicious black pots in my garden are iboga seeds from iboga fruit, waiting to sprout. Bringing these fruits and their seeds to Mexico from Africa is part of a sustainability project by GITA (Global Ibogaine Therapy Alliance). The picture on the right shows iboga fruits. There is ever increasing demand for iboga and its derivative ibogaine as the world discovers its incredible value for human development. https://www.ibogainealliance.org/iboga/sustainability/

neurogenesis

Neurogenesis by Brant Cortright is a groundbreaking book. We have been teaching this way of eating and living for years and know it works. To have it spelled out by a eminent psychologist complete with scientific references is a great gift to the world. Highly recommended reading!

Neurogenesis is about what we can do to keep our brain cells growing and so achieve
higher cognitive function, better memory and learning, emotional vitality and resilience, protection from stress anxiety and depression, elevated immunity and enhanced overall brain function. Nutrition, good sleep, music and the quiet of nature aerobic exercise, emotional and cognitive stimulation all make a difference especially together. Nutritional recommendations are to eats lots of fresh, fruit and vegetables, minimise other carbohydrates and add healthy fats fish oil. “Omega 3’s have been shown to be as or more effective than prescription SSRI antidepressant medication in treating depression”.

There is a list of foods and nutritional components to increase neurogenesis:
green tea
turmeric
blueberries
whole soy
ginseng ginkgo
quercetin
vitamin E
piperine (pepper)
DHEA and pregnenolene
tryptophan and 5 HTP

Bodhisattva

"The Bodhisattva…does not abandon life. Turning his regard from the inner sphere of thought transcending truth…outward again to the phenomenal world, he perceives without the same ocean of being that he found within… And he is filled with compassion for the self-terrorised beings, who live in fright of their own nightmare." Joseph Campbell, The Hero with a Thousand Faces

The hero

“The hero, therefore, is the man or woman who has been able to battle past his personal and local historical limitations to the generally valid, normally human forms.” Joseph Campbell, The Hero with a Thousand Faces.
