"It’s a hurtful kind of comfort that the dominant culture. is in some kind of beginning stage of terminal swoon...it's hard to tell the difference between that and dancing going on... there’s no turning back from it...all that we need of you is that you be human... what has to die is your refusal to die..you're not supposed to feel punishment you're supposed to feel more...that's the invitation"
